Thai tea

Thai tea is a blend of black tea leaves and spices served iced and sweet. It is not a traditional drink, but a street drink that people enjoy everywhere to cool down.

Ingredients (per person)

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • 1-2 tablespoons Thai Tea (black tea blended with crushed spices such as star anise and tamarind seeds with red and yellow food coloring).
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon sweet condensed milk
  • crushed ice
Preparation

Brew the Thai tea with the hot water in a pot.

Milk and sugar are added to the mix and stir before pouring it into the glass with ice.

Condensed milk is poured on the top of the glass.
